Welcome to your sailing adventure. If this is your first time on a catamaran, here are our top tips to help you enjoy the week and prepare properly.

Clothing and Luggage
- Bring light, comfortable clothes for daytime: think of packing as if going on a summer hiking trip.
- No need to buy nautical clothing—outdoor/mountain wear works perfectly. A windbreaker is highly recommended.
- Several swimsuits are essential so you can switch to a dry one after swimming.
- Lycra-style tops are great for snorkeling. They protect against sunburn and help regulate body temperature.
- Pack something warmer for cool nights at sea or for air-conditioned areas.
- Don’t forget a hat or cap and sunglasses. A sunglasses strap is useful to avoid losing them overboard.
- Use packing cubes to organize your bag. This helps you settle quickly into your cabin.
- Bring a small backpack or dry bag for excursions ashore.
- Avoid hard suitcases or wheeled trolleys—they take up too much space in the cabin. Opt for foldable backpacks or soft luggage.
Personal Items
- Don’t forget your toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and other toiletries. If traveling with carry-on only, we can arrange to share essentials at embarkation.
- Bring a beach towel or pareo and a waterproof bag to keep your items dry.

Footwear
- Most of the time you’ll be barefoot on the boat. For rainy or slippery conditions, bring non-slip shoes.
- Closed shoes or sandals with ankle straps are recommended for safety on deck.
- Water shoes or reef shoes are great for water activities or walking on rocky shores.
Sun Protection
- Bring high SPF sunscreen. We recommend SPF 50—both face and body—and reapply frequently throughout the day.
- Don’t forget lip balm with SPF and after-sun care.
Medication
- If it’s your first time sailing, we recommend motion sickness tablets like Dramamine (with caffeine). We also carry some onboard if needed.
- If you take regular medication, bring enough for the entire trip. Access to pharmacies may be limited during the journey.
- Don’t worry—our crew includes a doctor and nurse, and a full first aid kit is always onboard!

Documents and Money
- Bring your ID, passport (if international), boarding passes, and cash.
Entertainment
- Books, magazines, e-readers, or board games are great for relaxing on deck—there will be plenty of chill time!
Power and Adapters
- Most catamarans use 220V and include USB ports. Bring an adapter if needed for your devices.
Insurance
- The boat includes basic liability coverage, but it’s advisable to purchase a personal travel insurance policy. It should cover trip delays, cancellations, lost luggage, and medical incidents outside the boat.
