What’s Included in the Skipper Training on Catamaran?
You’ll learn to sail, maneuver, anchor, and experience life on board our Bali catspace, with a professional skipper in charge of the experience.
If you’re a skipper and still hesitant to make the leap to catamarans, this activity is for you.
It’s not restricted only to certified skippers; you can come accompanied by your trusted sailor as two people are required for maneuvers on the catamaran. So, sign up with your partners or friends who will be your accomplices in nautical adventures.
We’ll sail for 4 or 5 days, spending the nights on board around the islands of Ibiza and Formentera. We’ll discover the best anchorages in the islands and sail around both islands.
Our goal is for you to feel encouraged to enjoy your next vacation with family or friends while sailing.
You’ll discover why catamarans are becoming increasingly popular. The comfort in sailing and life on board, as well as stability, are incomparable to monohulls.
PROGRAM
– Boarding in Sant Antoni de Portmany (Ibiza). During check-in, we’ll discover the technical aspects regarding equipment (2 engines, watermaker, air conditioning, generator), and mooring of these boats. We’ll visit other catamaran models to learn about their peculiarities.
– Planning the navigation route based on meteorology, nautical charts. Review of mobile apps used for navigation purposes.
– Sailing around Ibiza and Formentera for 4 or 5 days, spending the nights on board. Over 100 hours on board experiencing day-to-day life on the catamaran.
– Each day, participants will be responsible for choosing the route, navigation, anchoring, sail trimming, and maneuvers.
